Wonderful time. Thanks to Sophie for getting many of my questions answered and to Jo for being a great rafting guide. Stayed Fri/Sat night, it does stay rather noisy up to around 2am due to music coming from the bar and people still up. There are no public grills you can use in the camping area but the meals provided/purchased were relatively healthy, fresh and of good sized portions. There are tent pads all over and are on a first come first serve basis. Bathroom facilities aren't great but sufficient. This is not a hotel so don't expect much. Great time and would come back.
I felt so close to nature...The team at NWF is highly professional, and provided such a fun and unforgettable experience, that left us wanting for more! Our first experience of white water rafting was made special, fun, and safe by our guide, Sebastian. And I wouldn't hesitate a bit to go back again. One small recommendation: I would perhaps like to have more options for getting a copy of digital photographs though. $20 for one digital photo is likely to pinch if one wasn't visiting in a larger group to purchase the $65 per 100 photographs of the group.
Before doing it, I did not remotely expect how amazing this adventure sport actually is. If done well, the physical pain lasts at least a day after the event. Arms, shoulders, abs, legs, hip and back are all exercised to their maximum while you don't feel a thing when you are actually doing it. We (novice white water rafters) went for the half day experience which lasted for close to 3 hours if I'm not wrong.The guide was great. If not for him and his quirky uplifting spirit, the experience would have been a bit different. Thanks 'turtle' man. You were awesome. Great photographers too capturing the moments at the right time. I'd definitely recommend getting the photos cause they are definitely worth it. You'll know when you see how great they are in the screens before choosing to buy them. Overall a fantastic experience and strongly recommending for anyone planning on doing something like this. We were all quite apprehensive before doing it but extremely glad we did it. Do it!
Great day! Did the full day trip (2 rafting trips, lunch & dinner) with the family (ages 51 ,48, 22b, 20b, 19b, 17g) Sebastian our guide was awesome - crazy fun, very entertaining but also competent and responsible. Also dealt with Derek - also friendly, knowledgeable and skilled. (others seemed great too) Rafting was fun. Food was really good and healthy. Facility was scenic, comfortable, and had plenty of things to do between and after going on the rafting trips. Guides asked what kind of experience we wanted and delivered - very accommodating.
It was one of the best experience of my life.Staff is very friendly and bilingual.My group's rafting guide was Daniel, he was nice n friendly guy. Other guides too very good.There price was great and I drove from Toronto to this place and really flad that came here.Thanks to Team New World Rafting !
